Thermax was an energy and environment engineering company located in India and in the UK. The company was set up by R. D. Aga in collaboration with Wanson in 1966 with a capital of INR 300,000 and an employee pool of 40 people. The company was taken forward by Rohinton Aga (Rohinton), his son in-law, who joined Thermax a few years after its inception and put immense efforts into building it.
